The Mission
This work is the essence of the Great Commission as directed by Jesus to Christians in Matthew 28:19-20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

In April/May 2007, I returned to India for the second time. People sometimes ask "Why India?" Because I believe God himself has called me to that mission field. When I am in India I stay with my Indian family, the Rao's. I am no less comfortable with them then with my own family. That I believe is supernatural, by God, for my pleasure and comfort while being separated so far from my own family. Their vision is my vision. Rev. Dr. Rao and his wife Rev. Shohba Rao and their entire family are wholeheartedly committed to the ministry despite the persecution they have endured. I am dedicated to the mission where they have established a great ministry outreach. The ministry consists of 25 village settlements with a total of 10,000 people. Two of the tribes, the Banjaras and Koyas, have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. The mission is dedicated not only to the teaching of God’s Word but is involved in helping the tribes to gain skills and knowledge that will better their lives.
The mission center will soon house a Bible college, a children’s home, and a vocational training center that will train the tribal women and youth in various crafts and trades. Literacy programs will be started in each hamlet and vocational training will prepare them for employment or a cottage industry. 100 buffalo have been brought in, providing them with everything from milk to labor and there is a six acre parcel to grow grass for fodder to feed the buffalo. Regular veterinary visits for the buffalo and other animals will be provided. Moreover, Dr. Rao and other medical personnel will not only give routine physicals and medical assistance for the people but will also teach them disease prevention and how to stay healthy.
They will be trained in the use and cultivation of plants for food and of the many medicinal plants that grow on their land.
Three and a half acres of this farm have 100 mango trees with six varieties of mango's. One variety, the coconut mango will be exported to US for income to support the ministry and the rest is a food source. Hydraulic machines are being used to dig bore wells so that the tribes will have a supply of safe water in each village.
We work for the overall development of self sufficiency and literacy of the total population of 10 thousand unreached tribes, thereby bringing them into Christ's fold and ultimately establishing full fledged churches in all the 25 tribal settlements, so that we'll be able to bring them all into the salvation knowledge of Jesus Christ according to John 10:10 "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

We expect a great Harvest of souls through this outreach and by the Power of the Holy Spirit. It is a wonderful ministry, one I am proud to be a part of. You can help this ministry if it touches your heart. In 2001, I founded Helping Hands International, a registered 501(c) non-profit organization based in America. You can send a donation to:
